The Filipino Assemblies of the First Born, Inc. (FAFB) now, International Assemblies of the First Born Europe District (IAFBEU) is a God ordained body of believers who are lead of the Holy Spirit to unite themselves for:

  1.  Worship

  2. Instruction in the Word of God

  3. Fellowship

  4. The exercise of gifts and offices bestowed in the New Testament.

  5. Propagation of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in obedience to His commands in Matthew 28:19

This organization is a cooperative fellowship based upon mutual agreements voluntarily entered into by its members. It is purely religious, non-profit, existing for and in the glory of God. The head of IAFB is Jesus Christ.

IAFB PHILIPPINES HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Sometime after World War II, a number of members of the FAFB, California, USA were filled with a burden and fiery zeal to launch out in the Philippines. Therefore, they were sent by the brethren to sow the seed, the Good News. It sprouted, grew and bore fruit. Glory be to Jesus’ Name.

The first organizational meeting of the members of the organization was held in San Juan, Abra, Philippines on November 24, 1949, during which they voted to incorporate the group;

The incorporators and members of the Board of Directors were the following: Rev. Silvestre G. Taverner, San Juan, Abra; Rev. Rosendo Alcantara, Sta. Catalina, Ilocos Sur; Rev. Celemente V. Balangue, Caba La Union; Rev. Pedro Rayanon, Manaoag, Pangasinan; Rev. Felipe Clizar, Agno, Pangasinan.

The original Articles of Incorporation were presented to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on August 16, 1950. The SEC accepted and duly registered the Philippines Branch of the Filipino Assemblies of the First Born, Inc. on March 19, 1951 with registration number 5905.

IAFB EUROPE CONCISE HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Sometimes more than 20 years ago, Rev. Loreto Aquino from Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines and Rev. Nelson Saro from San Luis, Pugo, La Union migrated to Italy and started an independent church in Salerno and Rome, Italy. In 2010, Rev. Bernardo Manding from Suyo, Dingras, Ilocos Norte started a church in Bologna, Italy and he, concurrently, carried out the government registration of IAFB Italy accumulated the Codice Fiscale: 91314600379.

August 2019, Rev. Edwin F. Edmalin from Aglipay, Pinili, Ilocos Norte, pioneered the first IAFB Church in Spain in one of its major cities, Barcelona where he and his wife Evelyn Acierto lived together. It was also then that he spearheaded the registration under the Government of Spain with NIF Number: R08017701.

It was during the August 2012 IAFB World Convention in Barcelona, Spain that the formulation of the IAFB Europe as one of the Districts of IAFB World was approved through the endorsement of Dr. Enrique Difuntorum and Dr. Mitchell Kanekoa. June 15, 2013 marked the first Executive Meeting at the residence of Pastor Nancy Hortizuela Omaoeng in Via Riparbella 25, 00138, Rome, Italy with Rev. Edwin Edmalin, Rev. Bernardo Manding, Rev. Randy Paquit, Rev. Nelson Saro, Ptr. Rodrigo Notarte, Ptr. Nancy Omaoeng, Ptr Jhun Sigman and Ptr Vic Osalvo.

The Lord has blessed IAFB Europe with rapid growth, pioneering churches in key cities across Europe. In just seven years, over 20 churches were planted in countries including Spain, Italy, UK, Greece, UAE, Israel, and Cyprus. As part of church planting in the UK, IAFB has been registered as a recognized charity by the Charity Commission for England and Wales.

With the mobilization of multiple ministries and the support of these churches, IAFB Europe actively participates in fulfilling the Great Commission across Europe and beyond.
